Happy news!
Last year I applied to study abroad in the second half of this year. After months of not hearing back from them, I’d basically accepted that I didn’t get a place.
Well, I suppose patience pays off: yesterday I received an email from my university to say that I’ve been offered places at two colleges in the US! I’m so incredibly excited =) =) Have accepted one of the offers. Now I have copious amounts of paperwork to look forward to…and so the REAL fun begins! =P

This is a photo I took recently of the cupcakes and almond biscuits I made for my brother’s 17th birthday =) They were so much fun to make (and even more fun to decorate, hehe) and they turned out better than I expected they would.
